About Us

The Parish Map shows the boundary administered by Wolsingham Parish Council.

The Parish Council is custodian of various spaces around the town, including two Community buildings, the Town Hall, and St Anne’s Centre, that are available to book for community or business groups, events, and private parties.

As for outside spaces, Demesne Mill is a popular starting point for hikers and walkers to access public footpaths up towards Tunstall Reservoir. There is also seating along the riverbank making it a delightful place to watch the river with the opportunity to spot local wildlife including herons, kingfishers and otters. It’s also a popular picnicking spot in the warmer weather.

The Recreation Ground has a play park for younger members of the community and a Skatepark that is well used by skateboarders, scooters and BMX bikes. There is also an outside gym, a Bowling Green with an active Bowling Club, and a football pitch and wooded area heading down to the river.

Car parking is available at both Demesne Mill and the Recreation Ground, for which there is a small charge. All proceeds from the car parks go towards maintaining the Parish Council properties and supporting community activities.

The current membership of the Parish Council is listed below, together with each Councillor’s email address, should you wish to approach one of them directly regarding a specific query or issue:
